The Champion’s Mindset
Pressure does not create character. It reveals what we have practised.
Athletes and executives work in different arenas, but both must perform while the outcome matters, adapt when conditions change and recover after mistakes. High performance is not the absence of stress. It is the ability to meet stress without surrendering judgment, curiosity or the capacity to respond.
I use manageable, controllable and progressive physical challenges as a laboratory. The purpose is not to manufacture exhaustion or prove toughness. It is to let people observe what changes when demand rises, then practise returning to better breathing, clearer decisions and more useful action.
